LPG TECHNICAL FEATURES AND ADVANTAGES:
LPG consists of C3 (Propane), C4 (Butane) and their isomers. It is obtained by distillation of oil or natural gas in refineries.
In our country, as per the Autogas EN 589 Standard; 30% Propane / 70% Butane mixture is used in summer, 50% Propane / 50% Butane mixture is used in winter. LPG, which is colorless and odorless, is smelled by adding Ethyl Mercaptan afterwards to feel its leaks. LPG Autogas is a very reliable fuel if used in accordance with Technical Conditions and Standards.
Advantages of Using LPG:
- It is more economical and economical than the use of alternative fuels.
- It is more environmentally friendly. It significantly reduces exhaust emission values.
- Due to the fact that the vehicles are dual fuel (Gas & Autogas), they have a longer range.
- Efficient combustion occurs because the air mixture is better. Therefore, it provides long engine life and high performance.
- Since the octane number is higher than gasoline, the engine knock rate is low. This extends engine life.

Rules to be considered during filling;
- Before filling, make sure to turn off the ignition of your vehicle, do not use mobile phones and smoke,
- Make sure to install the earthing tongs during filling to protect them from Static Electricity,
- For the safety of your autogas tank, fill your tank level not to exceed 85%. Do not shake your car to fill more,
- Make sure that you maintain the vehicle at the vehicle manufacturer and / or at the authorized service of the kit company you have converted, during maintenance times.
- The duration of the autogas tank is 10 years. Expired tanks must be replaced.
